In this lesson i looked at different magazine contents pages. From this i was able to look at the similarties of the magazine contents pages and figured out the codes of conventions.

In this lesson I looked at many different front covers of magazines. From this I was able to work out the similarities of the magazine and make a set of codes and conventions. These codes and conventions will help me producing my magazine as I will be able to refer back to them throughout my preliminary task and also my main task.

Preliminary exercise: usint DTP and an image manipulation program, roduce the front of a new school/college magazine, featuring a photograph of a student in medium close-up plus some appropriately laid-out text and masthead. Additionally candidates must produce a mock-up of the layout of the contents page to demonstrate their grasp od DTP.

Main Task: the front page, contents and double page spread of a new music magazine.

All images and text used must be orginal, produced by the candidate(s), minimum of four images per candidate.
